【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsareintendedtoprovidebasicinformationforevaluationandprocurementfortheuserofservingstringmaterialsforbowstrings.Thesetestmethodsarenotmeanttobeallinclusivesincespecialcircumstancesmayoccurthatdictatetheuseofnonconformingproceduresforevaluation.Thesespecialcircumstancesandtherequirementstheyestablishcannotbetotallyanticipatedandthereforemustbeconsideredonanindividualbasis.1.1Thesetestmethodscovertheclassificationandtestingofservingstringasacomponentmaterialusedinthefashioningofarcherybowstrings.1.2Thesetestmethodsarenotintendedtoprovideinformationbeyondanyevaluationoftheservingstringmaterialthatwoulddetermineitsfitnessforuseotherthaninthefabricationofthecompletedbowstring.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
