【摘要】:(a)ThisStandardcoversmanuallyoperatedthermoplasticvalvesinnominalvalvesizes1/2through12.Thesevalvesareintendedforusebelowgroundinthermoplasticfuelgasdistributionmainsandservicelines.Themaximumoperatingpressure(MOP)atwhichsuchdistributionpipingsystemsmaybeoperatedisinaccordancewiththeCodeofFederalRegulation(CFR)Title49,Part192,TransportationofNaturalandOtherGasbyPipeline;MinimumSafetyStandards,fortemperaturerangesof-20?Fto140?F(-29?Cto60?C).(b)ThisStandardsetsqualificationrequirementsforeachbasicvalvedesignasanecessaryconditionfordemonstratingconformancetothisStandard.(c)ThisStandardsetsrequirementsfornewlymanufacturedvalvesforuseinbelowgroundpipingsystemsforfuelgas[includessyntheticnaturalgas(SNG)],andliquefiedpetroleum(LP)gases(distributedasavapor,withorwithouttheadmixtureofair)ormixturesthereof.
