【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheconstructionandperformancecharacteristicsrelatedtosafetyandtherationaluseofenergyofportableappliancesburningliquefiedpetroleumgasesatthevapourpressurewithinthegascontainer.Italsodefinestestmethodsandtherequirementsformarkingandtheinformationtobegivenintheinstructions.NOTETheseappliancesarereferredtointhebodyofthetextas"appliances".Thisstandardappliestovarioustypesofportableappliancesburningliquefiedpetroleumgasesatvapourpressureanddesignedtobeusedwith(non-refillable)cartridgesascomplyingwithEN417oranytypesofgascylindersotherthancartridges.Forexamplethefollowingtypesofappliancesarecovered:a)cookingappliances(hotplates,grills,barbecues...);Thisstandarddoesnotcoverbarbecueswhichcanbeusedindoors.b)lightingappliances;c)heatingappliances:Thisstandardonlyappliestoapplianceswithamaximumheatinputofupto3kW(Hs)foroutdooruseonly.d)blowlamps;Thisstandardonlyappliestoblowlampswithoutaflexiblehose.e)laboratoryburners.Therequirementsapplytotheseappliancesortheirfunctionalsectionswhetherornotthelatterareindependentorincorporatedintoanassembly.Thisstandardonlyappliestotypeexamination.Appliancescoveredbythisstandardarenotconnectedtoaflueforthedischargeofproductsofcombustionandarenotconnectedtothemainselectricitysupply.ThisstandardcoversneitherappliancessuppliedwithLPGintheliquidphasenorthoseincorporatingafixedgasreservoirwhichmayormaynotberefilledbytheuser.Thisstandarddoesnotcovergascontainersorflexiblehose.ItdoesnotapplytosmokerslighterscoveredbyEN29994.Requirementsforrationaluseofenergyhavebeenincludedforhotplateburners.However,suchrequirementshavenotbeenincludedfortheothertypesofappliancesbecause:—forgrillsandbarbecues,thisisatypeofcookingwhichisachievedbyvariousmeanssuchasradiantelements;inadditionthistypeofcookingvariesaccordingtothetypeoffoodandregionwheretheapplianceisused;—forlightingappliances,theconsumptionisinsignificantbecausetheseapplianceshaveaverylowrateandareusedonlyforafewhoursinayear;—forheatingappliances,alltheheatproducedisdischargedintotheenvironment;—fortoolssuchasblowtorcheswhicharenotprofessionaltoolsinregularuse,thegasconsumptiondependsverymuchonthewayitisused.
