【摘要】:Thistestmethodwillquantifythewaterabsorptioncharacteristicsofcellularelastomericgasketsandsealingmaterials.Itisatestthatenablesthespecifiertoexerciseengineeringjudgmentintheselectionofmaterials.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthosecellularelastomericcompoundsthataremanufacturedinpreformedshapessuchasgaskets,andthatareusedascompressionsealsforglazingpurposesandassealingmaterialsinotherapplicationsinbuildingconstruction.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.
