【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansofdeterminingwhetherornottileofthetypesindicatedin1.1canbebondedwithadequatestrengthtoportlandcementpaste.Tilespecificationscanrefertothistestmethodinordertoestablishminimumbondstrengthlimitsappropriatetotheserviceconditionsthatareanticipated.Separationbetweenbondcoatandsettingbed,orbreakageofthesettingbeditselfshallnotbeconsideredfailuresoftilebond.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheabilityofglazedceramicwalltile,ceramicmosaictile,quarrytile,andpaverstobebondedtoportlandcement.Thistestmethodincludesbothface-mountedandback-mountedtile.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
