【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversseveralgradesofcarbonandlow-alloysteelforgedorring-rolledflanges,forgedfittingsandvalvesintendedprimarilyforlow-temperatureserviceandrequiringnotchtoughnesstesting.Theyaremadetospecifieddimensions,ortodimensionalstandards,suchastheASMEandAPISpecificationsreferencedinSection2.Althoughthisspecificationcoverssomepipingcomponentsmachinedfromrolledbarandseamlesstubularmaterials(see5.3.3),itdoesnotcoverrawmaterialproducedintheseproductforms.1.2Nolimitationonsizeisintendedbeyondtheabilityofthemanufacturertoobtainthespecifiedrequirements.However,Class3ofGradeLF787isonlyavailableinthequenched-and-precipitationheattreatedcondition.1.3Supplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforusewhenadditionaltestingorinspectionisdesired.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedbythepurchaserintheorder.1.4Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandinSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation(SIunits),thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactquivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Note18212;RefertoTestMethodsandDefinitionsA370fornotesonsignificanceofnotched-barimpacttesting.
