【摘要】:Asphaltschangeinvolumewithchangeintemperature.Theyareloadedortransferredatwidelyvaryingtemperatures.Volumecorrectionfactorsareusedtoadjustbulkvolumesmeasuredatthosetemperaturestocorrespondingvolumesatabasetemperatureof15x00B0;Cor[60x00B0;F]forthepurposesofcustodytransferandaccountingoperations.Correctionfactorsasprovidedinthispracticehaveproventobesufficientlyaccuratefortheintendedpurposes.Coefficientsofexpansionusedfordevelopmentofdatainthispracticeareasfollows:1.1Thispracticeprovidestablesofvolumecorrectionfactorswhichmaybeusedtoconvertvolumesofasphaltmeasuredatdifferenttemperaturestoavolumeatastandardbasetemperature.Thesetablesareapplicabletoalltypesofasphaltsexceptemulsifiedasphalts.1.2Thispracticeprovidestablestoconvertasphaltvolumesto15x00B0;C[60x00B0;F]fromvolumesmeasuredatanytemperaturefromx2212;25to+275x00B0;C[0to500x00B0;F].1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
