【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationprovidesaprocedurefortestingandevaluatingdurationofloadandcreepeffectsofwoodandwood-basedmaterialsrelativetoanaccepteddurationofloadadjustmentmodel.Thisspecificationwascreatedforproductsthatarecurrentlycoveredbyaconsensusstandard(forexample,lumber,structuralcompositelumber,andstructural-usepanels).ThisprocedureisintendedtodemonstratetheengineeringequivalencetothedurationofloadandcreepeffectsofvisuallygradedlumberasspecifiedinPracticeD245foraproductunderevaluationusedindryserviceconditions.Thisprocedureisnotintendedtoevaluatetheperformanceofproductsunderimpactloading.Quantificationofspecificdurationofloadorcreepfactorsisbeyondthescopeofthisspecification.ForfurtherguidanceregardingtheapplicabilityofthisspecificationrefertoX1.1intheCommentary.1.2UseoftheprocedureinthisspecificationtodetermineequivalencetothePracticeD245durationofloadrelationshipislimitedtosolidwoodandwood-basedproductswhoselongtermloadbehaviorissimilartothatofsolidwood.Equivalencedemonstratedinthisspecificationisdependentuponevaluationofaproduct''s90-day(minimum)creep-ruptureperformance.Inthisevaluation,threecriteriamustbesatisfied:(1)adequatestrengthovera90-dayperiod,(2)decreasingcreeprate,and(3)limitedfractionaldeflection.AsummaryofthedevelopmentofthesecriteriaandtheunderlyingassumptionsbehindthemisprovidedintheCommentaryinAppendixX1andAppendixX2.1.3Longtermdegradationphenomenanotdescribedbyacreep-rupturemodelarenotaddressedinthisspecification(seeCommentaryX1.2.4).
